Southern Vermont · The NorthshireWhere wild beauty gathers.
An evening that moves through meadow, garden, barn, and firelight — five settings, five senses, and the people who make this place extraordinary.
The inaugural gathering, Greenwake — Spring 2027
rev·er·ie — from the French rêver, “to dream”
For a few hours, the outside world falls away.
The Wild Reverie is a series of immersive evenings rooted in the land and creative community of Southern Vermont. Farmers, chefs, florists, artisans, musicians, and storytellers compose a single night together — and guests journey through it, from golden hour to candlelight.
The gatheringOne composition that moves.
Not a dinner with entertainment on the side — and never a single-seated affair.
Food, wine, music, florals, craft, and setting are created together as one piece. Rather than staying at one table, guests pass through a series of settings across a property — a water’s edge, a garden, a barn, an open field.
The landscape isn’t a backdrop; it becomes part of the meal. And the walk between settings becomes part of the story.
Five movements · Five sensesOne sense at a time, from dusk to dark.
The inaugural gathering · Spring 2027Greenwake
A spring evening of thaw, first green, and lantern light.
An evening of thaw, first green, and lantern light.
After the long quiet of winter, the land begins to stir. Snowmelt fills the streams, fields soften, and the first green returns to the mountains.
Greenwake celebrates that awakening.
Gather as the afternoon light begins to soften and wander through a landscape coming back to life. Meet the farmers, makers, chefs, artists, and musicians of our region. Taste what’s emerging from the earth, discover what’s being made nearby, and follow music toward the next unexpected moment.
As daylight fades, lanterns glow, fires are lit, glasses are raised, and the evening unfolds through seasonal food, music, stories, and discovery.
No single table. No prescribed path. Just a beautiful spring evening meant to be explored.
A return. A beginning. An invitation to gather again.
Welcome to Greenwake.
Meeting the makersMeet the people who made it.
Every gathering draws guests closer to the people who make it — conversations with farmers on regenerative growing, chefs on sourcing and craft, and artists and makers on their work.
